John Sack


Dr. Sack has a special interest in trauma, particularly microvascular replantation. Additionally, Dr. Sack has an interest in Dupuytrens disease. He has many years of experience in reconstruction after trauma and joint replacements in the hand. He enjoys teaching and has assisted in the U. of W. Hand Program for over twenty years. He became a Clinical Professor at the University of Washington in 1989 and continues in that capacity.

He is presently a member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand, The British Society for Surgery of the Hand, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the Washington State Medical Association.

Dr. Sack has a passion for rowing, woodworking and mountain climbing and enjoys watching his children grow and mature.

He is a full time surgeon, operating primarily at Swedish Medical Center, Providence Medical Center, and the Seattle Hand Surgery Unit.
